Exclusive Books Hyde Park Book Launch: The Last Lions
Lions are magnificent, beautiful, and under threat. Fifty years ago, they roamed most of Africa’s savannas. In 1970, there were about 92,000 of them; today, there are closer to 23,000. The Last Lions was written out of deep concern for their future – and with good reason. What was found was both deeply worrying but also heartening.
