STRUIK NATURE publishes nature books that focus on southern and East Africa, and also on Africa as a whole. We accept proposals for nature guides of various levels and for general non-fiction books pertaining to nature and the environment.
Nature-themed, non-fiction proposals for children are also accepted.

We don’t publish:
Academic textbooks
Fictional nature books
Books focused on areas outside of Africa
Biographies

On submitting your book proposal, you will receive an automatic reply acknowledging receipt. Your proposal will be carefully assessed and considered within a period of three months, or sooner if possible. While we endeavour to reply to all submissions, please assume that your proposal has been unsuccessful if you do not hear from us within four months.
