The late Colin Paterson-Jones was a professional natural history photographer and writer with a special interest in photographingwildflowers and their interaction with birds, animals and insects. He received an award for his outstanding contribution in the field of botanical photography. John Winter was curator of Kirstenbosch for some 20 years and served as deputy director of Gardens with SANBI.
