Clive Walker studied art before taking up as a game ranger in Botswana and travelling extensively in the southern African bush. Actively involved in environmental education and wildlife conservation, he founded the Educational Wildlife Expeditions in 1975, a company that specializes in adult game trails. He has served as Chairman of the Wilderness Trust of Southern Africa, which runs the Lapalala Wilderness School, and co-founded the Endangered Wildlife Trust, which ranks amongst the top three conservation organizations in South Africa. He is a member of several national and international conservation organizations.
