Anusuya Chinsamy-Turan holds a PhD from Wits, is a Fellow of UCT, and president of the Association of South African Women in Science and Engineering. In 2005, she received the ‘Distinguished Woman in Science’ award from the Dept of Science and Technology. She is widely published in academic journals and popular media.
